JUNIOR PROJECT MANAGER [CONSTRUCTION & SOLAR]
Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
Our Johannesburg based client is seeking a junior project manager/engineer based in Gauteng. You will need excellent communication skills, at least two years experience within construction and ideally renewable energy.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Coordination: Develop execution plans, schedules, resource allocation and risk mitigation strategies.
- Construction Management: Oversee multi-site construction activities, subcontractors, site teams, safety, quality and compliance.
- Project Delivery: Manage projects from initiation through commissioning and handover, tracking milestones, documentation and regulatory requirements.
- Financial & Resource Management: Manage budgets, cost estimates, procurement strategies and supplier/subcontractor performance.
- Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Lead multidisciplinary teams and maintain effective relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders.
- Problem Solving & Accountability: Resolve technical and operational challenges while ensuring projects are delivered successfully, efficiently and to required standards.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license.
- BEng/BSc in Civil, Structural, or Engineering OR equivalent Project/Construction Management qualification.
- 2+ years’ experience in construction and project management within renewable energy or general construction.
- Proven ability to manage diverse and simultaneous projects.
- Knowledge of Solar PV construction processes is advantageous.

- Microsoft Office
