WORKFORCE PLANNER

Location: Durban North

Our client, in the Durban North region is looking for a Workforce Planner to join their team. The successful incumbent will assist by managing and administering all aspects of workforce planning for the company, ensuring the adequate forecasting and scheduling of employees. He/she will also ensure that all regulatory and quality requirements are met.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Forecasting and planning to ensure adequate staff and skills.
  • Forecast variance reporting and explanations.
  • Providing input for the budget headcount submissions, on an annual basis.
  • Make recommendations for maximising on productivity and profitability.
  • Engages with relevant stakeholders to manage impact of forecasting and planning.
  • Reports on operations metrics.
  • Generation and publication of work schedules for employees and management.
  • Leave quota calculations and processing on relevant system.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Matric
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications advantageous
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of variance scores achieved within industry standard range and acceptable to company standards
  • Exceptional data handling skills i.e. must be able to efficiently and effectively manage/manipulate data from multiple sources)
  • Knowledge of various forecasting, scheduling and workforce planning software.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and perform multiple tasks with attention to detail.
