Our client is an established UK-based provider of business intelligence and data solutions, seeking an experienced Sales Development Representative to support the UK financial services market.

Working with banks, commercial lenders and finance brokers, you’ll build relationships with senior decision-makers, uncover business needs and generate qualified opportunities through a consultative, relationship-driven approach.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Identify and engage prospective organisations across the UK financial services market.
  • Build relationships with marketing, business operations and commercial leaders.
  • Conduct consultative conversations to understand business objectives and data requirements.
  • Research target organisations and develop creative outreach strategies.
  • Generate qualified sales opportunities for the commercial team.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline activity.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to support business growth.

Requirements:

 

  • Previous experience in a Sales Development Representative, Business Development Representative or similar outbound sales role.
  • Experience selling into or working with the UK financial services market is essential.
  • Strong understanding of commercial lending, banks, finance brokers or relationship management within financial services.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • A consultative, relationship-focused approach to business development.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to tailor outreach to different organisations.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Experience engaging organisations that partner with banks and lenders, such as business transformation consultancies, technology providers or marketing agencies is advantageous.
  • Experience selling to senior decision-makers within medium to large organisations.
