LEAD SOLAR INSTALLATION FOREMAN [C&I RESIDENTIAL]

 

Location: Pretoria

 

Our client in the Solar Energy sector is urgently looking for a Senior Lead Solar Installation Foreman based in Pretoria, Gauteng.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Own C&I and high-end residential solar builds from bare ground to handover (PV, hybrid inverters, BESS, backup generators)
  • Lead multiple site teams: allocate work, set daily goals, keep projects on time and on budget
  • Read single-line diagrams and electrical/structural plans; run pre-install site assessments
  • Configure and commission inverters and LiFePO4 batteries; ensure CoC compliance
  • Manage site logistics and health and safety; mentor junior staff

 

Requirements:
     

  • Matric
  • Terriary Education
  • 5+ years as foreman/site manager in both C&I and residential sola
  • 3-Phase Wireman’s License (highly preferable, not mandatory)
  • Solar software skills (PVsyst, Helioscope, Deye Cloud, Victron VRM)
  • Strong SANS 10142-1 / 10142-1-2 knowledge; cable sizing, voltage drop, string configuration
  • Valid Code B/EB driver’s license
