EXTERNAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE [ELECTRICAL MANUFACTURING]
Location: Pretoria.
Our client in Pretoria is looking for an External Sales Representative to join their team.
Responsibilities:

- Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty.
- Identify and establish contact with potential new customers.
- Visit existing client base at their office and on active construction sites.
- Generate revenue by obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information.
- Schedule and perform product demonstrations with potential customers.
- Answering telephone and email enquiries (this includes prices, quotes, issues), using the provided company cell, phone calls might require after hours communication.
- Develop accounts by checking customers buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features.
- Follow company procedures: capturing sales orders, checking allocations, printing picking ticket and confirm with operations regarding any special delivery requirements.
- Following up on project critical backorders and communicate with operations all stock concerns.
- Attend industrial trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers.

- Matric.
- Tertiary qualification (advantageous).
- 2 – 3 years external sales experience / in a similar role.
- Knowledge of electrical industry and cable management systems.
