TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE (WESTERN CAPE)

Location: Observatory

Our client based in the Western Cape region, is looking for a Technical Sales Representative to join their team.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Sales generation / business development in the Western Cape region - including outlying areas.
  • Ensuring the required profit margins are met for all new business brought in.
  • Cold calling, canvassing for new business, and following up on leads and referrals.
  • Recording of leads (potential and landed) timeously and efficiently on system.
  • Regular client visits in assigned region.
  • Preparing quotations, placing orders, and following up on deliveries, and after-sales service.
  • Ensuring timeous payments from clients.
  • Implementing and monitoring of marketing activities.
  • Ensuring all sales activities are accurately and consistently recorded.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Matric
  • Own vehicle (travel costs are covered)
  • Happy to accommodate overnight stays in further regions of Western Cape
  • Previous experience as a Technical Sales Rep - servicing manufacturing / engineering / technical clients
  • Experience using a CRM system
