SOFTWARE ENGINEER [NETHERLANDS]

Our client in the Netherlands is looking for a South African Software Engineer to relocate.

We are ideally looking for candidates who can speak basic Dutch / or fluent Afrikaans (and willing to learn Dutch).

 

Responsibilities:

 

As an experienced Software Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge solutions from renowned suppliers such as Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell, Mitsubishi, and Beckhoff. As a Solution Partner, we ensure your knowledge stays up-to-date through training and courses, allowing you to apply your skills in projects covering Internet of Things, databases, industrial networking, virtualisation, programming languages, virtual commissioning, and code generation. Your development path is driven by your interests and ambitions.

  • Take technical ownership of projects.
  • Translate customer requirements into functional and technical designs, configurations, and system definitions.
  • Develop software applications for PLC, HMI, and SCADA solutions.
  • Perform software testing; no need to hand off to a commissioning engineer, as you're responsible from concept to solution.
  • Regularly engage with customers to ensure project alignment.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Several years of work experience and readiness for career advancement.
  • Enthusiasm for autonomy and responsibility.
  • Dedication to meeting customer demands with excellence.
