Location: Cape Town

Our manufacturing client is looking for a Sales Representative to service the Western & Northern Cape Regions. The successful incumbent will have a solid sales track record, and ideally come from the packaging industry.




  • Service exisiting key accounts.
  • New business development - calling on potential customers/clients.
  • Cold calling.
  • Client visits to foster relationships.
  • Quotations, based on customer requirements and follow-through thereafter. This includes completion of artwork spreadsheet and implementation thereafter, as well as providing assistance during the trial process.
  • Consistently achieves sales targets.
  • Attends to all customer queries, and ensures prompt response / action.
  • Regularly updates call summaries / tracking.
  • Documents and uploads details pertaining to customer meetings / queries / etc.
  • Completion and submission of weekly sales report.
  • Verification of commission report.
  • Sets sales projections for upcoming financial periods.




  • Matric
  • Tertiary qualification (advantageous)
  • Solid sales background, with proven track record of hitting target.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Customer-centric in approach.
  • At least 5 - 8 years' experience as an External Sales Representative
  • Valid drivers license (with clean record)
  • Packaging industry experience
