Location: Witbank

Our national FMCG client is looking for a Sales Representative to join there team and service the Mpumalanga region.




  • Successful implementation of operational plans set by Business Manager and Management
  • Achieving the objectives for the various products’ sales targets in the identified market segments.
  • Determine and manage the total buying potential for each customer in the territory.
  • Achievement of Monthly and Quarterly Sales/ Gross Profit Targets as set by Management Customer Business Planning
  • Plan how to achieve sales targets for each of the customers within the sales product range.
  • Analyse sales performance by product and formulate plans to counteract opposition activities.
  • Plan territory calls as per call cycle.
  • Identify new business opportunities and alternative sales opportunities within territory and formulate sales objectives.
  • Negotiate orders within given and approved parameters.
  • Execute promotional activities.
  • Initiate ad-hoc activities.
  • Complete pricing surveys.
  • Identify sales opportunities.
  • Increase basket of products sold to customers.
  • Update customer records.
  • Maintain control over debtor’s payments where necessary.
  • Attend stock takes.
  • Provide documentation for new accounts including credit application form – new and updates.
  • Attend sales meetings / conferences / training courses.
  • Any other activities on a short-term basis as required by the company



  • Matric.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Sales Rep within the FMCG environment.
  • Excellent verbal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Experience servicing major clients / accounts (within the FMCG sector).
