SALES ADMINISTRATOR

Location: Cape Town

Our manufacturing client, based in Cape Town, is in search of a Sales Administrator to join their team.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Communicates effectively with all customers noting orders, responding to queries and complaints.
  • Liaises with Sales and Marketing Managers on customer requirements.
  • Co-ordinates all customer orders from receipt through to delivery.
  • Loads sales order from customer purchase order once stock availability has been confirmed and stock code has been loaded.
  • Ensures that sales price is correct prior to loading and no verbal orders are loaded.
  • Receives sales calls and communicates accordingly.
  • Ensures correct processing of orders, payments, and deliveries in accordance with company procedures.
  • Keeps accurate, up-to-date records of sales and customer correspondence.
  • Maintains records of all pending orders and work in progress.
  • Co-ordinates customer deliveries including picking slips through Syspro.
  • Liaises with customers and confirms daily order requirements.
  • Maintains accurate records of weekly and monthly sales data on Excel.
  • Monitors sales against budget.
  • Prepares all relevant monthly and weekly reports.
  • Maintains accurate price information on the system.
  • Ensures that all paperwork, filing and administrative duties are managed effectively for the department.
  • Keeps accurate records of all customer queries and complaints and forwards specific requirements through to Sales and Marketing Manager.
  • Assists in compiling company and product profiles for potential customers.
  • Taking & Processing of Telephone orders.
  • Processing of Postal, faxed & email orders.
  • Dealing with customer queries/ Service.
  • Stock Takes.
  • Cash Sales / Credits.
  • Following up on outstanding orders- advise customers.
  • Basic Administration - customer profiles, daily / weekly customer reports and sales reports.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Matric.
  • Minimum2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working within a Manufacturing concern.
  • Related tertiary qualification (advantageous).
  • Syspro and MS Excel knowledge.
