RECRUITMENT MANAGER

Location: Durban 

Our client based in Durban is looking for a seasoned recruitment manager to head up and lead their talent department.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop recruitment strategies to attract talent.
  • Update current and design new recruiting procedures.
  • Supervise the recruiting team and report on its performance.
  • Keep track of recruiting metrics.
  • Implement new sourcing methods.
  • Review recruitment software and suggest the best option for company needs.
  • Research and choose job advertising options.
  • Advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques.
  • Recommend ways to improve the employer brand.
  • Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on labor legislation and inform recruiters and managers about changes in regulations.
  • Participate in job fairs and career events.
  • Build the company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partners.
  • Arrangement of psychometric assessments.
  • Creation of Job profiling and job descriptions.
  • Maintaining and analysing the recruitment budget.
  • Vendor Management.

 

Requirements:

 

  • HR related degree or related tertiary qualification essential.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a Recruitment function with 5 years in a Senior management role.
  • Proven track record with bulk and specialist recruitment.
  • Proven track record of working in a managerial role for an inhouse talent acquisition department.
  • Good understanding of recruitment-related labour law and recruitment practices.
  • MS Office Proficient.
