Our client based in Durban South is looking for a Quality Controller to join their team. As a Quality Controller, your role is crucial in ensuring that products meet or exceed the established quality standards of the organisation. You will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating various stages of the production process, identifying defects or discrepancies, and implementing corrective measures to maintain quality and customer satisfaction. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and knowledge of quality control concepts will contribute to the overall success of the organisation.




Quality Control:

  • Conduct regular inspections and tests to assess product quality at various stages of production or delivery.
  • Identify quality problems, defects, or non-conformities.
  • Collaborate with production or service teams to resolve quality issues and improve overall processes.

Process Improvement:

  • Participate in root cause analysis to determine the underlying causes of quality problems and implement preventive measures.
  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and test results.
  • Communicate quality-related information to relevant personnel and management.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.

  • Matric.
  • Relvent teritary qualification.
  • Proven experience in quality control, in a manufacturing environment (Minimum 1 year experience).
  • Good knowledge of understanding quality control concepts, methodologies, and tools.
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail to identify and solve quality problems.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Drivers' license and own vehicle.
  • Be willing to work shifts(3 shifts) – 6:00 am to 14:00 pm, 14:00 pm to 22:00 pm and 22:00 pm to 06:00 am (rotational).
  • Overtime when required.
