PAYROLL OFFICER [FMCG]

Location: Pinetown

Our FMCG client, based in Westmead, is looking for a Payroll Officer to join their team.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage full payroll process using Sage Online and maintain accurate records.
  • Calculating employee salaries, wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions (taxes, benefits, etc.) accurately and on time.
  • Organise and update personnel records, including annual leave in the internal database.
  • Onboarding, terminating or transferring employees on the system.
  • Utilise prescibed payroll templates and ensure compliance with statutory and legislative requirements.
  • Ensuring payroll taxes are calculated correctly and paid to the appropriate authorities on time.
  • Handle employee inquiries and process payroll input information efficiently.
  • Leave payment administration.
  • Produce relevant payroll reports.
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.

Requirements:

 

  • Matric.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or Officer manging the complete payroll process.
  • Sage online experience
