KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER [MANUFACTURING]

Location: Durban

Our manufacturing Client, based in Durban, is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to join their team.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Provisional travel - servicing existing accounts and growing portfolio (new business
    development).
  • Achievement of monthly sales targets.
  • Overall responsibility for end-to-end sales process, including quotations, order management, delivery schedules, after-sales service.
  • Preparation and presentation of detailed activity reports.
  • Marketing of new products, recommendations and developing client-specific solutions.
  • Monitors competitor activity and feeding back to management.
  • Weekly and monthly reporting on sales performance and sales pipeline.
  • Implementation and execution of business sales strategies.
  • Develops solid relationships with all accounts; handling all queries and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Provides technical support / solutions to customers, in order to address their needs and strengthen future business opportunities.
  • Manages contract negotiations.
  • Ensures contract agreements are adhered to and expectations exceeded in terms of service delivery.
  • Attends sales workshops and hosts sales events for the business.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Tertiary qualification - advantageous
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is essential
  • Solid sales track record.
  • A self-starter, keen, ambitious, and hungry to get results.
  • Relentless and experienced in reaching out to leads and generating sales.
  • Excellent verbal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
