INTERNAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Location: Durban

Our client, based in Durban, is looking for an Internal Sales Representative to join their team.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements
  • Understand customer needs and requirements.
  • Identify and propose new or alternative products.
  • Route identified opportunities to the appropriate sales representatives for further development and closure.
  • Process telephonic and electronic orders and achieve quarterly targets.
  • Maintain and expand your database of customers.
  • Maintain customer relations finding solutions to their needs.
  • Processing of quotations and invoices.
  • Keeping records of customer orders and back orders.
  • Keeping records of selling prices.
  • Ensuring targets are met.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings

 

Requirements:

 

  • Matric.
  • Minimum 3 years’ internal sales experience (3 years).
  • SAGE Evolution 200 or similar system experience.
  • Good telephone presence.
  • Knowledge of products, functionalities, and productivity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Code C driver’s licence.
  • Works within laid down policy and pricing schedule.
