Location: Durban

Our client based in the Durban North area is looking for a CRM Automation Specialist to join their growing team.

Please note: this is a shift based in-office role.

As a CRM Automation Specialist, you will become the glue between the different teams within the company. In this role, you will take ownership of the revenue operations and CRM platforms and structure data flows, as well as owning the nurture and email sequences that are sent out for and on behalf of the organisation. Proven hands-on experience owning/managing a CRM system is a must to be successful within this role. Experience rebuilding and improving processes and workflows within the CRM and creating automated reporting as well as integrating the CRM with different systems is a MUST! Experience marketing to different countries such as Australia and/or USA a massive plus.



  • Database Management
    Creating a data cleanness structure
    Restructuring and setting up an optimised data structure within the CRM’s system
    Automation of basic processes (as a supportive metric, allowing team members more efficiency in completing their roles)
  • Email Nurture Building and Optimisation - Designing and implementing simple to complex personalisation’s and workflows to increase open rates and business revenue
  • Process Creation and Management - Designing and implementing new processes and workflows focused on making the wider organisations (or your own role) easier to manage the increasing capacity team-wide
  • Report Creation and Management - Take ownership of the data and key data systems and providing support to relevant departments and stakeholders with creating custom reporting that can be automated and shared throughout the organisation
  • Software Ownership
    Serving as the core integrations and technical expert around technical stacks that are regularly used by the team
    Resolving basic issues or interfacing with other internal teams to access the integrations and/or API’s that are needed to source the relevant data



  • Own means of reliable transportation
  • Ability to work shifts and full-time hours --- 4pm - 1am (Mon - Fri) / 4am - 1pm (Mon - Fri)
  • Bachelors Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related discipline / qualification with Marketing focus + relevant experience
  • Ideally experience in either IT, SaaS or software related industry
  • Experience working with and managing a CRM
  • Proficiency in database management systems such as SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle.
  • Experience with data cleansing, data modeling, and data restructuring within CRM systems.
  • Strong understanding of automation tools and processes.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms and experience in building and optimising email nurture campaigns.
  • Experience in process design and management, preferably in a business or organisational context.
  • Proficiency in report creation and management, including data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with software ownership and integration, including API usage and troubleshooting.
